The International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking is observed on 26 June every year.
It is otherwise known as World Drug Day.
It is aimed at strengthening action and cooperation in attaining a world free of drug abuse.
This year’s theme is: “People first: stop stigma and discrimination, strengthen prevention.”
