The Upper East Regional Manager of the Ghana Red Cross Society, Paul Pidimniba Wooma, has picked nomination forms to contest the parliamentary primaries of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Nabdam Constituency towards the 2024 general elections.

Wooma obtained the forms on Thursday (today), bringing the number of the party’s parliamentary aspirants in the constituency to two so far.

Charles Taleog Ndanbon, Managing Director of Yenyeya Mining Company, became the first aspirant when some members of the party voluntarily secured a form for him with their own money on 26th July, 2023.

The two aspirants are newcomers. Until his appointment as the Upper East Regional Ghana Red Cross Manager, Wooma was a Deputy Chief Disaster Control Officer of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) in the Upper East Region.

Purchase of nomination forms closes on August 10, 2023.
